WE ARE URBAN MINERS !

We believe in the concept of ' urban mining ' for precious metals - looking in our homes and environment for old, broken or unwanted manufactured items that contain or are made of precious metal -such as jewellery - and then collecting them efficiently, refining and recycling them back into the system thereby saving valuable resources.

Coming from the precious metal jewellery industry and knowing the huge amounts of gold and silver jewellery that are sold in the UK each and every year -a lot of which is scrapped in by people when metal prices are high as they are now -we also know that huge quantities of old, tired, broken unwanted and unworn gold and silver jewellery still lie in people's homes waiting to be ' mined ' and recycled.

Although valuable, lightweight gold and silver jewellery are generally not interesting to jewellers and pawnbrokers as scrap - they are not valuable enough - and with refining charges so high, unless a member of the public has a lot of jewellery to offer, it is difficult to realise any value by trading it in.

However, by appealing for this unwanted lightweight gold and silver jewellery to be donated to your fundraising campaign, your organisation can achieve collective value quickly and easily and help recycle valuable precious metals at the same time.

P.M.R.Co have developed and introduced two unique ways to collect and recycle this 'hidden goldmine' - the Silver Appeal, and the Gold4Good Appeal, both of which enable charities and fundraising organisations large and small to benefit from collecting unwanted precious metal jewellery and getting cash donations in return.

And what's more, both are FREE to participants and there are no minimum requirements or maximum levels - we pay you for every single gram of precious metal that you collect
