They are unique fundraising campaigns which are designed to be easy for you to implement, be attractive to people who want to donate to your cause, and of course to raise lots of money for your cause quickly and easily, with no cost to you.

The Gold4Good Appeal asks people to sort out their old, broken, tangled or dented lightweight gold jewellery and donate it to your fundraising appeal. We then pay you for every single gram of actual gold that you collect - there are no minimum requirments, and no maximum limits - and its free to run !

Fundraising is difficult enough, but in today's economic climate with fuel and basic food prices rising every week, people are short of money and think twice about putting their hand in their pocket, however worthy the cause. The Gold4Good Appeal enables people to donate something of value to your cause, which they already have, but which is no longer of value to them.

Because gold prices are so high today, even the smallest amount of broken, tangled, dented gold will be valuable to your appeal. Gold is also an important raw material to many industries and many industrial processes, so by collecting and recycling gold your supporters are also helping the environment.

Why collect Gold ?

We all know that gold is valuable and that heavier pieces of gold jewellery can be sold to a jeweller or pawnbroker for scrap. These are NOT the items that this Appeal wants.

Instead, we ask people to donate their small, lightweight gold items such as broken necklaces or mismatched, dented or broken earrings and rings with stones missing, tangled chains and bracelets which are too lightweight to be of any interest to a gold buyer.

Individually, these items have very little value, but collectively in your Appeal, they accumulate value - and there are lots of these lightweight gold items out there lying broken and unwanted in people's jewellery boxes.

Millions of pieces of lightweight gold jewellery are bought each year in the UK from jewellery shops, catalogues, TV and online. This is the gold that the Gold4Good Appeal targets when it reaches the end of its useful life.

How does it work ?

It's a simple campaign that's easily understood and is suitable for any club, group, or organisation of any size. People are asked to sort out any broken, old, miss-matched and unwanted pieces of gold jewellery and to donate this unwanted gold to your appeal

We then pay you for every gram of actual gold that you collect.

There is no minimum requirement, and no maximum limit. The more you collect, the more we pay.

Gold is 100% recyclable

Because gold is 100% recyclable, we can accept gold in any condition - old, broken , dirty, tangled - we refine it and recycle it as pure gold.

The price that we pay per gram for 9 carat gold varies in line with changing world gold prices. Please call us for our current prices.

You have no costs

You have no costs for running the Gold4Good Appeal. We supply all the materials you need to launch and run a successful campaign - promotional leaflets, collection bags, posters. We collect the gold from you at the end of your Appeal free of charge and insure it whilst in transit.

We pay you for every single gram of gold that you collect within 10 working days of receiving your collection - not several weeks later as with some collections.

The Gold4Good Appeal is a great fundraiser

The Gold4Good Appeal campaign is ongoing, so you can participate as often as you like. If your supporters work with local businesses, then the Gold4Good Appeal can run in their offices or staff areas and can be a very effective fundraiser for your cause. Most women have a single or broken gold earring that they will be willing to donate.

There are no limits to the number of Gold4Good Appeals you can run at one time. Simply request more free promotional materials. Participants in the Appeal are also given the opportunity to win prizes in our fantastic prize draw competitions as a ' thankyou.
