HOW MUCH CASH CAN WE RAISE ? With all precious metal prices being close to record highs, now is a great time to launch a Gold4Good Appeal or Silver Appeal campaign. The SILVER APPEAL The Silver Appeal is an ongoing campaign which is designed to run continuously in your shops. We will provide as many posters and leaflets as you need to distribute to supporters free of charge. If you propose running the Appeal with local schools, businesses or community groups to extend the scope of your campaign, please contact us to ensure that you have all the marketing materials you need to publicise the appeal. We will donate a minimum of £100 for each kilogram of actual silver that you collect. That's the same weight as a bag of sugar - and when you consider that most people have at least 25 grams of old, tarnished, broken silver jewellery at the back of their drawers, you only need 40 people to donate to collect a kilogram. A popular shop in a good location will collect several kilograms of silver every month - and there is a lot of silver out there to collect ! Remember, we pay you within 10 working days of receiving your collection - not several weeks later like some collections. The GOLD4GOOD APPEAL The Gold4Good Appeal is an ongoing campaign which is designed to be run within a limited timescale - say 4 weeks or even 1 week - and is perfect to run in clubs, offices, workplaces, canteens, social gatherings etc. By asking people to sort out and donate lightweight gold jewellery that is no longer of use to them, they know that it has some value, albeit small, but also know that it is virtually impossible for them to realise any value in the item because it is so light. By donating it to your Appeal they are able to help you without putting their hands in their pockets for cash again - very attractive in the current economic climate Collectively in your campaign, the accumulated weight of gold will be valuable. Gold prices vary daily, and there are several different ' carats ' or purities of gold in the marketplace - our prices take these aspects into account. When you consider that a typical lightweight earring will weigh 0.5 gram - half a gram - and most women have several single or broken earrings, or lightweight broken or tangled necklace of similar weight, a successful collection within a supporter's office block or staff canteen will generate 50 grams - possible value £150 - £200 - and you can run as many Gold4Good Appeal collections as your supporters can organise. There are no limits, no minimum requirements, all marketing material is free and we will pay you within 10 working days of receiving your collection. |
